ShiftSimple finds vehicles you actually want that also fit your financial situation.
ShiftSimple looks at the vehicle preferences and financial information you choose to share, and uses both to surface stronger potential matches — before you ever set foot on a lot.
Sample matches shown for illustration only.
Credit matters — but it's only one part of the picture. Whether a specific vehicle actually works depends on you, the vehicle, and how the deal itself is structured.
Being able to finance around $25,000 doesn't mean every $25,000 vehicle represents the same deal. A newer car with low mileage and a three-year-old car with higher mileage can carry very different financing situations at the same sticker price.
That score is genuinely useful information — but it's a consumer credit score. Auto lenders often use a different scoring model built specifically around auto-lending risk, and they generally weigh more than a score alone: income, employment history, the vehicle itself, and how the deal is structured.
That's why ShiftSimple starts with the whole picture — not just a score.
Answer a few questions and see which vehicles make the most sense for you.
Answer what you can — nothing here is required. The more you share, the sharper your matches.
This helps ShiftSimple estimate which vehicles fit your situation. Credit information is self-reported and used only for an estimate.
We'll show you your matches right away — this just lets a dealer follow up on the vehicles you actually like.
ShiftSimple matches buyers to vehicles on your lot based on both what they want and what appears financially compatible — before they reach your sales team.

As the network matures, participating lenders share underwriting criteria with ShiftSimple privately. The platform learns patterns of the form buyer profile + vehicle type + deal structure → likelihood of approval from a given lender — turning ShiftSimple from an inventory marketplace into a routing layer between consumers, dealer inventory, and lenders.
Aggregate first. The program starts with anonymized, aggregate approval-pattern data — no granular underwriting criteria required to join.
Structured deal flow. Lenders get access to pre-qualified buyer profiles and deal structures that already match their stated appetite, instead of raw applications.
Criteria sharing grows over time. As trust and volume build, lenders can share more granular underwriting criteria to sharpen routing further.
Compliance-first. Fair-lending and credit-reporting requirements (FCRA, ECOA) are engaged with legal counsel before any criteria sharing goes live.

*Directional averages compiled from Experian's State of the Automotive Finance Market and Bankrate's weekly rate survey, 2026. Actual offers vary by state, lender, term length, vehicle age, and loan-to-value — always confirm current terms directly with the lender before structuring a deal. This directory is planning reference, not a live rate feed or a lending relationship — none of these institutions have been contacted or verified as ShiftSimple partners.

Your Match and Deal Match are useful scores inside ShiftSimple — not the whole product. Here's the full process behind your results.
Tell us what you want. Body style, mileage, features, colors — as much or as little as you'd like to share.
Tell us about your situation. Income, self-reported credit range, down payment, and trade-in, if any.
ShiftSimple evaluates available vehicles. Every vehicle in the connected dealer network gets checked against both of the above.
Each vehicle receives two scores: Your Match and Deal Match — kept separate, never blended into one hidden number.
The algorithm ranks the strongest opportunities. Not just what's financially possible, and not just what you like — the overlap between the two.
Your Simple Deal. An estimated buying range, a ranked list of real inventory, and a shortlist you build yourself before ever contacting a dealer.
How closely a vehicle fits what you actually want — body style, make, mileage, features, color, and more.

ShiftSimple exists to find the intersection between what a buyer actually wants and what appears financially compatible with their situation — before they ever set foot on a lot. Instead of one generic buying-power number, ShiftSimple evaluates real lender program data alongside a customer's preferences and financial situation, so the vehicles a customer sees are ones with a genuine reason to fit.
ShiftSimple collects the vehicle preferences, financial information, and contact details a customer chooses to share through the "Find My Simple Deal" questionnaire. That information is used to estimate financing paths and match inventory, and — only once a customer selects a dealer to connect with — is shared with that dealer along with the vehicles selected. Credit information collected today is self-reported, not a credit pull. This page describes current practice; ShiftSimple's complete privacy policy will be published here ahead of public launch.
ShiftSimple provides estimated vehicle and financing matches based on information customers choose to share. Using ShiftSimple is not a loan application, and nothing shown — including any estimated range, Deal Match score, or financing path — is an approval, offer, or guarantee of financing, credit terms, or vehicle availability. Final eligibility depends on a complete application, the lender's underwriting, the dealer, and the specific vehicle. ShiftSimple's complete terms of use will be published here ahead of public launch.

Controls whether a financing path through a specific dealer is presented as an actionable route (ACTIVE), a confirmed dead end (INACTIVE), or still pending (PENDING). Leaving a pair unset keeps it UNKNOWN — ShiftSimple never assumes a route is active just because both the dealer and lender exist.

Every lender in the directory is internal infrastructure — none of these names or rates are shown to consumers. A lender only ever contributes its own distinct financing path once it has real verified program fields; until then it's listed here as a coverage gap.

A scheduled server-side agent (netlify/functions/lender-agent-scheduled.js) checks connected public lender rate pages once a day and queues any detected change below alongside anything entered manually here. Nothing is ever applied automatically — approving writes through the same verified-fact history used everywhere else in the lender data layer.
