DESIRABILITY + FINANCEABILITY

Stop shopping for cars
you can't get approved for.

ShiftSimple finds vehicles you actually want that also fit your financial situation.

Most auto shopping sites ask "what car do you want?" Others only ask "what can you afford?" ShiftSimple asks both — together.

Vehicles worth actually going to see

ShiftSimple looks at the vehicle preferences and financial information you choose to share, and uses both to surface stronger potential matches — before you ever set foot on a lot.

FIRST, A QUICK REALITY CHECK

Your credit score is only part of the deal.

Credit matters — but it's only one part of the picture. Whether a specific vehicle actually works depends on you, the vehicle, and how the deal itself is structured.

WHAT MAY
ACTUALLY WORK

Being able to finance around $25,000 doesn't mean every $25,000 vehicle represents the same deal. A newer car with low mileage and a three-year-old car with higher mileage can carry very different financing situations at the same sticker price.

"But Credit Karma says I'm a 620."

That score is genuinely useful information — but it's a consumer credit score. Auto lenders often use a different scoring model built specifically around auto-lending risk, and they generally weigh more than a score alone: income, employment history, the vehicle itself, and how the deal is structured.

That's why ShiftSimple starts with the whole picture — not just a score.

HOW SHIFTSIMPLE THINKS

Not every car is worth your time. We help find the ones that are.

Every vehicle gets two scores — Your Match and Deal Match — that ShiftSimple uses together to rank real inventory into a shortlist worth actually seeing.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

Answer a few questions and see which vehicles make the most sense for you.

What do you want?

Answer what you can — nothing here is required. The more you share, the sharper your matches.

STEP 2 OF 3

What are you working with?

This helps ShiftSimple estimate which vehicles fit your situation. Credit information is self-reported and used only for an estimate.

Trade-in
Credit range is self-reported and not a credit check. ShiftSimple does not perform a hard credit inquiry at this stage, and nothing here is a loan application.
STEP 3 OF 3

Where should we send your Simple Deal?

We'll show you your matches right away — this just lets a dealer follow up on the vehicles you actually like.

FOR DEALERS

Stop paying for leads that can't buy your inventory.

ShiftSimple matches buyers to vehicles on your lot based on both what they want and what appears financially compatible — before they reach your sales team.

Traditional leadShiftSimple lead
"Customer interested in a $32,000 SUV.""Customer reviewed financially compatible inventory from your lot and selected these three vehicles."
  • Fewer hours spent switching customers off vehicles they can't finance
  • Fewer customers arriving with unrealistic vehicle expectations
  • Less wasted salesperson time on leads with no suitable inventory
  • Fewer repeated inventory searches on the floor
  • Fewer customers who leave after disliking their realistic options
  • Better prepared buyers + better inventory alignment + less wasted sales time — not just more leads.

WHY THE MARKET NEEDS THIS

Buyers shop backwards. Dealers pay for it.

  • Consumers fall for a car first, find out later. A credit application after the fact — often a hard pull and hours on a lot — is how most buyers discover a deal can't be structured, especially subprime, first-time, and post-bankruptcy buyers.
  • Dealerships burn hours on unqualified leads. A salesperson spends an hour with a shopper on a vehicle that was never going to clear underwriting for their income and credit profile — a direct cost to the finance and sales desk.
  • Financing is bolted on, not built in. Existing marketplaces treat financing as a secondary calculator. Few rank inventory by the variable that decides whether a lead becomes a sale.

LENDER NETWORK — THE LONG-TERM MOAT

A private routing layer, not another marketplace.

As the network matures, participating lenders share underwriting criteria with ShiftSimple privately. The platform learns patterns of the form buyer profile + vehicle type + deal structure → likelihood of approval from a given lender — turning ShiftSimple from an inventory marketplace into a routing layer between consumers, dealer inventory, and lenders.

How the matching program works

Aggregate first. The program starts with anonymized, aggregate approval-pattern data — no granular underwriting criteria required to join.

Structured deal flow. Lenders get access to pre-qualified buyer profiles and deal structures that already match their stated appetite, instead of raw applications.

Criteria sharing grows over time. As trust and volume build, lenders can share more granular underwriting criteria to sharpen routing further.

Compliance-first. Fair-lending and credit-reporting requirements (FCRA, ECOA) are engaged with legal counsel before any criteria sharing goes live.

Who actually lends at each tier, today.

LENDER PROFILE

Welcome,

Your profile is on file with ShiftSimple. Our partnerships team will reach out about next steps — there's nothing further to do here yet.

HOW IT WORKS

We don't just score the deal. We find your path through the inventory.

Your Match and Deal Match are useful scores inside ShiftSimple — not the whole product. Here's the full process behind your results.

1

Tell us what you want. Body style, mileage, features, colors — as much or as little as you'd like to share.

2

Tell us about your situation. Income, self-reported credit range, down payment, and trade-in, if any.

3

ShiftSimple evaluates available vehicles. Every vehicle in the connected dealer network gets checked against both of the above.

4

Each vehicle receives two scores: Your Match and Deal Match — kept separate, never blended into one hidden number.

5

The algorithm ranks the strongest opportunities. Not just what's financially possible, and not just what you like — the overlap between the two.

Your Simple Deal. An estimated buying range, a ranked list of real inventory, and a shortlist you build yourself before ever contacting a dealer.

Your Match

How closely a vehicle fits what you actually want — body style, make, mileage, features, color, and more.

Deal Match

An estimate of how compatible a vehicle looks with your financial situation, based on what you've shared and an assumed APR for your credit range. It's not an approval — just a stronger starting point.

ABOUT SHIFTSIMPLE

Vehicles you want, deals that fit.

ShiftSimple exists to find the intersection between what a buyer actually wants and what appears financially compatible with their situation — before they ever set foot on a lot. Instead of one generic buying-power number, ShiftSimple evaluates real lender program data alongside a customer's preferences and financial situation, so the vehicles a customer sees are ones with a genuine reason to fit.

PRIVACY

How ShiftSimple handles your information

ShiftSimple collects the vehicle preferences, financial information, and contact details a customer chooses to share through the "Find My Simple Deal" questionnaire. That information is used to estimate financing paths and match inventory, and — only once a customer selects a dealer to connect with — is shared with that dealer along with the vehicles selected. Credit information collected today is self-reported, not a credit pull. This page describes current practice; ShiftSimple's complete privacy policy will be published here ahead of public launch.

TERMS

Terms of use

ShiftSimple provides estimated vehicle and financing matches based on information customers choose to share. Using ShiftSimple is not a loan application, and nothing shown — including any estimated range, Deal Match score, or financing path — is an approval, offer, or guarantee of financing, credit terms, or vehicle availability. Final eligibility depends on a complete application, the lender's underwriting, the dealer, and the specific vehicle. ShiftSimple's complete terms of use will be published here ahead of public launch.

LENDER PROGRAM DATA

Lender data coverage

Every lender in the directory is internal infrastructure — none of these names or rates are shown to consumers. A lender only ever contributes its own distinct financing path once it has real verified program fields; until then it's listed here as a coverage gap.
